How to use the Keyword Density Checker

  1. Paste your text.
  2. Optionally type the keyword or phrase you want to check.
  3. Read the word and phrase tables and the keyword summary.
  4. Edit your text so it reads naturally, then check again.

Tips for better results

  • Use the phrase tables to spot words you repeat by accident.
  • Check the first 100 words: a clear mention near the start helps readers and engines understand the topic.
  • Read the text aloud. If a keyword sounds forced, reduce it.

Limitations you should know about

  • There is no ideal keyword density and search engines do not use a fixed percentage. This tool shows counts, not rankings or search demand.
  • It does not do keyword research. It cannot tell you what people search for or how many searches a phrase gets. Use Search Console or a keyword planner for that.
  • Words are matched exactly, so “compress” and “compressing” count separately. Chinese, Japanese and Thai text is not split into words.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good keyword density?

There is no official figure. Write for readers and use the phrase where it fits. Stuffing it in makes text worse and can hurt.

Does this find new keywords?

No. It only counts what is in your text. Real keyword research needs search data that a browser tool does not have.

Is my text uploaded?

No. Counting happens in your browser.
